September Summary
Hello Friends!! I've missed sharing some cool things going on in Avery's life because mine has just been too busy. I simply can't apologize every single time I take a break from blogging, because that would just get too old. However, I want to explain myself this one and only time...and give you a valid reason for why I haven't blogged in two months!
1. I am way busier than I used to be when I started blogging Avery's adventures 1.5 years ago. I've taken on the responsibilites of owning a photography business that keeps me incredibly tied up. If I'm not out on location shooting a session...I'm at home editing, uploading, burning, and ordering pictures.
2. Blogger.com has been super slow in uploading my pictures. It sometimes took 20 minutes to upload 5 pictures...that sometimes would tell me it failed. This factor kept me from trying to blog completely...even if I had a few spare minutes to do so.
3. I've really been trying to make an effort to prioritize my day and keep the main things...the main things! Unfortunately, blogging doesn't make it high on the list of my daily 'to do's'. Hopefully you understand.
With all of that said....here's what we were up to in the month of September. It was a month of FIRSTS for Avery and us. She attended her first "Bulldog Party" at Chad and Nicole's house. The Dawgs season kicked off Labor Day weekend and we told her it was a Bulldog Party when we all wore red. She wanted red cupcakes...so Michael ran by Publix and picked up some really awesome strawberry muffins. She was pleased:)
Cheerleader in training!
Aunt Jessie came, too:)
Avery started school again at Celebration Academy and this year she is in the 2-year-old class.
These pictures were of her first day of school.
Daddy was loading her up in the car. This is her "save me mommy" face.
The 'stinker' came home from school and went for ride on the bulldog. She cried at school...and continued to do so for the next month! Awesome :/
She is such a mess.
Avery visited the Yellow River Game ranch that month with her cousins Jonathan and Bella. I didn't get any pictures of all of them together...but they had the time of their lives.
This video is sideways....so turn your heads for 60 seconds so you can watch this baby goat jump on Avery's back! He reminded me of our dog, Cotton, always begging for food.
The BEST part about the month of September was Avery starting DANCE CLASS!!!!!!!!! She is getting fitted for her first pair of ballet shoes and I was more excited than she was....or any other mother for that fact.
She loved her new shoes, and the stockings that she wore when she tried on her shoes. She didn't' want to take them off. We didn't buy a leotard yet because I didn't know if she would do well in the class...so, she wore this SWIMSUIT her Mimi got her from Target.
Ms. Natalie is giving her a stamp
"Look at my stamp, Mommy!"
The last "first" for the Ewings came when we traveled to Oxford, MS to watch Georgia play Ole Miss. We went with some great friends and had an awesome time.
So...that was September in a nutshell. Each event should have had its own post, but oh well! We are busy LIVING life and loving it!
